My Services, Your Investment

I do anywhere between 1-4 prenatal appointments. Depending on how confident and comfortable you are feeling. 

They each usually last between 30 minutes to an hour and a half. If you have a partner I encourage them to be there! We are both here to work together for you! 

With every client their needs are a little different, so I always want to hold space for personalized care. 

Typically what you will see in these appointments are help making a birth plan, positions to labor and birth in, rebozo, childbirth education, breastfeeding support, exercises for each trimester etc.

During our last prenatal appointment I will bring a complimentary sitz bath, ring sling and freezer meal to help kickstart your postpartum journey.

I will meet you where you decide and stay with you throughout your labor and birth. If you decide you need some privacy, I will give you your space. I will use my knowledge and experience to provide you with continuous physical comfort and emotional support. I will act as a liaison between you and your birthing team;  it seems appropriate or necessary-establishing rapport, reminding them of your birth preferences and asking questions so you have the information necessary to make good decisions. 

I will stay with you until you are comfortable and your family is ready for quiet time together. Usually 1-2 hours after birth. I will help you with breastfeeding if you desire. I will meet with you at least once after birth: 1. to review the birth experience with you, compare notes and clarify events; 2. to admire and answer questions about your baby; and 3. to get feedback from you about my own role. 4. to help in any way I can during your postpartum.

When choosing this package you will receive everything offered in doula services and placenta encapsulations.

1-4 prenatal meetings with mother and partner to create a birth plan. To also educate, and teach skills to help the partner be the solo support person in labor & delivery.

 A personalized 'doula bag' will be provided to the family at the last prenatal meeting. It will include what I take with me to births. Comfort items, rebozo, teas, massage tools and more!

The process is pretty simple! 

It is really important to me that this is the last thing you need to worry about! We try and make this as seamless and easy as possible. 

When you go into labor call/text me so I am aware and on standby. When baby is born send another quick call or text. I come pick up the placenta from your place of birth. I usually have a 48 hour or less, turnaround time. I encapsulate using the traditional Chinese method (unless otherwise requested). 

During the first day I take the placenta, clean it, cut off the extra membranes and umbilical cord, then steam your placenta with lemon and ginger and dehydrate it. On day two, the dried placenta is then ground into a very fine powder and put into capsules. Once it is done I drop it off directly to your home.

Placenta Pills are delivered within 3 days after birth. The tincture will typically be delivered six weeks after birth, owing to the steeping process that is used. However, they can be delivered together and you can continue to steep the tincture until the six weeks.
